Explore MoSH’s Natural Science Collection

Featured Creatures dives into MoSH’s Natural Science collection to showcase how organisms are cared for and displayed at the Museum. Thanks to conservators and curators, our collection has grown to over 70,000 wet specimens, taxidermy, insect mounts, and even skeletons.

The exhibit will highlight how these specimens were prepared and how preparation methods have changed throughout history. Visitors will also have a chance to see an animal undergoing the skeletonization process!
