FAQs
At what locations do you offer camps?
- Camps are offered at the MoSH Pink Palace Museum & Mansion (3050 Central Ave) and Lichterman Nature Center (5992 Quince Rd).
How long is a day of camp?
- Camp runs from 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday.
- Exceptions are sometimes made for holidays
Do you offer extended care?
- Yes! Before and/or after care are available for purchase along with camp tickets on our website.
- Before care begins at 8:00am and runs up until camp starts at 9am. You can purchase before care for the whole week of camp for $30.
- After care begins at 3:30pm, when camp concludes and runs until 5pm. You can purchase after care for the whole week for $50.
- The availability of spaces in extended care is limited, and allocation is determined on a first-come, first-served basis.
What should I send with my camper everyday?
- We ask that campers come prepared with:

- A shelf stable lunch
- A refillable water bottle
- A snack
- A rain jacket
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- A hat or visor
- A change of clothing
- Any reported self-administered medications
What if I need to pick my camper up early or drop my camper off late?
- Please refer to the contact person and phone in your Camp FAQs sheet—this sheet is sent via email the week before camp to confirmed attendees.
What are the drop off and pick up locations?
- Pink Palace Museum & Mansion: you can drop off and pick up at the main entrance.
- Lichterman Nature Center: you can pick up and drop off at the main entrance of the Loewenberg Visitor Center.
What age ranges do your camps serve?
- Our summer camps are designed for rising 1st through 6th grade students (those who have completed at least one year of elementary school)
- Camps that are held during the school year (ex: spring break camp) are designed for current kindergarten through 6th grade students
