For the past 150 years, the Memphis Bar Association has created change locally, supporting the development of legal professionals and promoting justice within our community. All Rise: Memphis Bar Association at 150 offers a unique opportunity to explore the legal history of Memphis, a city that has been at the center of many critical courtroom decisions.

In All Rise, visitors will discover the Memphis-based landmark cases that have shaped the region, as well as some of Tennessee’s more unexpected laws. Through arresting objects and powerful images, the exhibition will showcase the Memphis Bar Association’s historical significance and continuing relevance, highlighting key changemakers and activities of the organization. Furthermore, All Rise will empower visitors with knowledge of their rights and fundamental freedoms as Memphians and Americans.
