The Greening of Mars

June 3 – 7 , 2024 & July 8 – 12, 2024

Blast off to an unforgettable camp adventure at MoSH Central – Pink Palace. Dive into the future of space exploration while learning teamwork and creative problem-solving. Camp will feature life an immersive and hands-on experience related to food production and self-sustainability on The Red Planet. Can humans colonize Mars? In learning to do so we will inspire a lifelong sense of wonder.

Biodiversity and Tree Science

Robo-Explorers on the New Frontier

June 10 – 14 & July 15 – 19, 2024

Embark on an electrifying journey at MoSH Central- Pink Palace! Guided by expert instructors, campers will design, build, and program their own robots while exploring our fascinating exhibits. Through hands-on activities, teamwork challenges, and interactive learning, participants unleash their creativity and problem-solving skills. Join the robo-explorers in a dynamic environment that sparks curiosity and ignites a passion for STEM that reaches for the stars!

Survivor Camp

Are you ready for the ultimate wilderness experience at MoSH– Lichterman Nature Center. Campers will survive and learn to thrive in the great outdoors with the essential skills of shelter building, fire starting, and wilderness navigation. Our expert wilderness explorers will guide campers through exciting challenges, teamwork activities, and wilderness scenarios, all while fostering resilience and self-reliance.

MoSH Camp FAQs

At what locations do you offer camps?

  • We are currently offering camp at MoSH Central – Pink Palace (3050 Central Ave) and Lichterman Nature Center (5992 Quince Rd).

How long is a day of camp?

  • Camp runs from 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday.
  • Exceptions are sometimes made for holidays

Do you offer extended care?

  • Yes! Before and/or after care are available for purchase along with camp tickets on our website.
  • Before care begins at 7:30am and runs up until camp starts at 9am. You can purchase before care for the whole week of camp for $30.
  • After care begins at 3:30pm, when camp concludes and runs until 5pm. You can purchase after care for the whole week for $50.
  • The availability of spaces in extended care is limited, and allocation is determined on a first-come, first-served basis.

What should I send with my camper everyday?

  • We ask that campers come prepared with:
    • A shelf stable lunch
    • A refillable water bottle
    • A rain jacket
    • Sunscreen
    • Bug spray
    • A hat or visor
    • A change of clothing
    • Any reported self-administered medications

Will my camper be provided snacks?

  • Yes! We provide water and snacks to campers throughout the day. They are, of course, welcome to bring their own snack if they like.

What if I need to pick up my camper early?

  • If possible, please let staff know when you drop your camper off that you will be picking them up early.
  • We understand that last minute changes can happen though. In the event you need to pick up your camper early unexpectedly, please call

What are the drop off and pick up locations?

  • MoSH Central: you can drop off and pick up at the main entrance.
  • Lichterman Nature Center: you can pick up and drop off at the main entrance of the Loewenberg Visitor Center.

What age ranges do your camps serve?

  • Our summer camps are designed for rising 1st through 6th grade students (those who have completed at least one year of elementary school)
  • Camps that are held during the school year (ex: spring break camp) are designed for current kindergarten through 6th grade students
