The Magic of Holiday Science – December 18 – 22 or December 21 – 22 & January 2 – 3

For current 1st – 6th graders

Camp Day 9:00am to 3:00 pm ; Before Care 7:30 am to 9:00 am ; Aftercare 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Brew magical potions and defy gravity at this action-packed camp! Safety goggles, capes, and wands are all part of the adventure! Dive into Memphis’ prehistoric past and our tech-based future at MoSH Central! This experience features the Festival of Trees, and special holiday films in our Giant Screen Theater and the planetarium.

Camp Cost:

$285 – Dec. 18 – 22 day camp for 1 child

$285 – Dec. 21 – 22 & Jan. 2-3

$75 – 1 day of camp

$25 – 1 – 5 days before care for one registered camper

$50 – 1 – 5 days aftercare for one registered camper.

Dino Discover – March 11 – 15, 2024

MoSH Camp: Dino Discovery; Lichterman Nature Center Monday-Thursday; MoSH Central- Pink Palace on Friday- Journey back in time and explore the mysteries of the world. From fossil excavation to thrilling dino encounters, we are having a ROARING good time! Don’t miss out on this chance to stomp, boom, and learn! This experience features daily lab experiences, our special exhibit, Sue the T.rex, and programming in the Giant Screen Theater and Planetarium.

 

The Greening of Mars-  June 3 – 7 , 2024 & July 8 – 12, 2024

Blast off to an unforgettable camp adventure at MoSH Central – Pink Palace. Dive into the future of space exploration while learning teamwork and creative problem-solving. Camp will feature life an immersive and hands-on experience related to food production and self-sustainability on The Red Planet. Can humans colonize Mars? In learning to do so we will inspire a lifelong sense of wonder.

 

Biodiversity and Tree Science – June 3 – 7, 2024 & July 8 – 12, 2024

Timberrrrrrrr..but wait! Whose habitat is that? Come to Lichterman Nature Center to meet the neighbors on the other side of the log. Explore the biology that connects us all and consider how trees inspire inventors!

 

From the First Frontier to the New Frontier  – June 10 – 14 & July 15 – 19, 2024

Get ready for some summer fun at MoSH Central – Pink Palace as we explore the wonders of the growing season. Dive into the world of chromatography and hone your laboratory skills. Discover the fascinating agricultural innovations of the past and how they paved the way for legends. Plus, embark on exciting experiments that offer a glimpse into the farms of tomorrow!

 

Survivor Camp – June 10 – 14 & July 15 – 19, 2024

Are you ready for the ultimate wilderness experience at MoSH– Lichterman Nature Center? Campers will survive and learn to thrive in the great outdoors with the essential skills of shelter building, fire starting, and wilderness navigation. Our expert wilderness explorers will guide campers through exciting challenges, teamwork activities, and wilderness scenarios, all while fostering resilience and self-reliance

 

Double Bubble Coils and Hubble – June 17 – 21 & July 22 – 26

Brew magical potions and defy gravity at this action-packed MoSH Central – Pink Palace camp! Explore the wonders of chemistry, physics, and thrilling explosions. Safety goggles, capes, and wands are all part of the adventure!

 

Woodland Wonders – June 17 – 21 & July 22 – 26

Where creativity meets the great outdoors! At MoSH – Lichterman Nature Center you can explore the beauty of nature through art, botany, and sculpting. Amidst the serene woodlands, harness your artistic talents to craft stunning nature sculptures, inspired by the breathtaking flora and fauna that surround you.

 

Dino Daze at MoSH Central – June 24 – 28 & July 29 – August 2, 2024

Pink Palace journey back in time unearthing the mysteries of the ancient world. From hands-on fossil excavations to thrilling dinosaur encounters, our camp offers a RAWR-ing good time Don’t miss out on this chance to stomp roar, and learn!

 

Insectasaurus – June 24 – 28 & July 29 – August 2, 2024

Get ready to satisfy your creepy-crawly curiosities in this exploration of the foundation of our food chain–insects! At MoSH– Lichterman Nature Center learn about their adaptations for survival, their place in the ecosystem, and how they inspire new innovations in science!
