Join us for Animal Superheroes Camp
October 7 – 11, 2024

Lichterman Nature Center
Each day at Lichterman Nature Center, we’ll dive into the incredible superpowers of the animal kingdom. From invisibility to super strength, we’ll uncover what makes these animals truly extraordinary. Campers will embark on daily nature hikes, where they’ll experience the wonders of wildlife firsthand. With live animal encounters, interactive STEM challenges, and exciting daily activities, this camp promises an unforgettable adventure that’s both educational and fun!

- Early bird price (before September 7th): $275
- After September 7th: $285

MoSH Camp FAQs
At what locations do you offer camps?
- Our Fall Camp is at Lichterman Nature Center (5992 Quince Rd).
- Summer camps are offered at the MoSH Pink Palace Museum & Mansion (3050 Central Ave) and Lichterman Nature Center.
How long is a day of camp?
- Camp runs from 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday.
- Exceptions are sometimes made for holidays
Do you offer extended care?
- Yes! Before and/or after care are available for purchase along with camp tickets on our website.
- Before care begins at 8:00am and runs up until camp starts at 9am. You can purchase before care for the whole week of camp for $30.
- After care begins at 3:30pm, when camp concludes and runs until 5pm. You can purchase after care for the whole week for $50.
- The availability of spaces in extended care is limited, and allocation is determined on a first-come, first-served basis.
What should I send with my camper everyday?
- We ask that campers come prepared with:

- A shelf stable lunch
- A refillable water bottle
- A snack
- A rain jacket
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- A hat or visor
- A change of clothing
- Any reported self-administered medications
What if I need to pick up my camper early?
- If possible, please let staff know when you drop your camper off that you will be picking them up early.
- We understand that last minute changes can happen though. In the event you need to pick up your camper early unexpectedly, please call

What are the drop off and pick up locations?
- MoSH Central: you can drop off and pick up at the main entrance.
- Lichterman Nature Center: you can pick up and drop off at the main entrance of the Loewenberg Visitor Center.
What age ranges do your camps serve?
- Our summer camps are designed for rising 1st through 6th grade students (those who have completed at least one year of elementary school)
- Camps that are held during the school year (ex: spring break camp) are designed for current kindergarten through 6th grade students
