ATTENTION CAMPERS – Winter Camp has moved to MoSH Central/Pink Palace

To Our Registered Families:

We at the Museums of the Science and History are excited to host your campers for day camp over the holiday break! Due to unexpected building maintenance, Winter camp will be hosted at the Central location at 3050 Central Avenue Memphis, TN 38111 from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm Tuesday – Friday, December 27^th to 30th. 

We will offer before care from 7:30 am until 9:00 am and aftercare from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm. 

We recognize that this is a significant change from your original plan. Still, we confidently commit to hosting your campers for an enjoyable, engaging, and active time in the Museum and safely on its grounds as the weather allows.

Please respond at your earliest convenience to share that your camper will be joining us on Central or if you would like support with contacting MoSH Guest Services for a full refund with our apologies.

Grab your winter coat and gloves and join us at Camp Lichterman for some winter break nature fun! Enjoy winter wildlife watching and nature walks, make your own fireworks in a jar, join in on the Survivor Fire Making Challenge, and enjoy other winter themed STEAM activities. Create your own natural crafts inspired by the season.  After playing in a foam fantasy snowstorm to celebrate the coming of the New Year, sit down by the campfire and warm up with some hot chocolate. Wild winter fun is waiting for you at Camp Lichterman this winter break!

Three Age Groups: 5-6 years, 7-9 years, 10-13 years

Hours:

Camp – 9 am – 3 pm

Before Care – 7:30 am – 9 am

After Care – 3 pm – 6 pm

Cost:

$200 – members

$215– non-members

$25 – before care (all)

$50 – after care (all)
