Enjoy a talk and guided walk of the trails.

Oct. 23 & 30 – Creep crawly critters: Learn about and meet some insects and arachnids then we will go on an insect hunt on the trails at LNC.

Nov 6, 13 & 27 – Fall color: Why do leaves change color and what trees produce the most fall color? Find the answers to these questions and enjoy a hike through the forest during this talk & walk series.

Nov. 20 –  Habitat walk: Celebrate National Hiking Day with a guided walk along the lake, meadow, and forest trails of Lichterman Nature Center.

Dec. 4 –  Beginner Bird Watching: Interested in birding, but not sure where to begin? This is the talk & walk for you. You’ll learn the basic of birding plus learn to use binoculars as we walk along the trails of Lichterman Nature Center. Ages 12 and up

Dec. 11, 18 –  Winter Walk & Talk: During this cold season series, you’ll discover how life survives by using different cold weather strategies plus take a guided walk with a naturalist.

Each talk & walk will focus on a seasonal topic followed by a guided walk exploring the trails of Lichterman Nature Center.
