Mission: Astronaut

Jun 8 | 8:00 am - Sep 2 | 5:00 pm

Embark on an exhilarating journey as you immerse yourself in astronaut training and tackle STEM challenges that simulate real space missions in this traveling exhibition. Opening June 8.

Mission: Astronaut is an interactive journey designed to give visitors a taste of life as an astronaut. Each section presents tasks that require an astronaut’s mindset to solve, using skills like engineering, physics, teamwork, and most importantly for young minds – fun!

As guests step into the exhibit, they will encounter Astronaut Guides—fictional astronauts equipped with skills ranging from engineering to health science. They will continue their journey through the Science in Space section and learn about space research projects like plant growth, human health, Earth science, and more.

In the Space Operations section, visitors engage with the technological wonders of space operations firsthand, from piloting a robotic arm and exploring the intricate process of designing a spacesuit. This section gives insights into the essential technologies that make space exploration possible.
