Mallory-Neely Historic Property
Join us for a Writing Workshop at Mallory-Neely House. Students will explore the historic home, learn about literary devices, and take part in a creative writing competition. Winners will be decided after the competition is over and receive their prize in the mail!
For students in grades 4–8
To qualify for the competition, all works must be:
- Completed in the given time period
- Have a word count no less than 500 words
- All uses of a literary device must be highlighted and labelled
- If you choose to use AI, you must
- Label and highlight the passage
- Use AI in less than 50% of your work (this will be determined by word count
