Memphis Museums of Science & History (MoSH) is searching for a new leader.
MoSH, the organization that manages the Pink Palace Museum & Manson and the Lichterman Nature Center, announced a national search for a new executive director.
Kevin Thompson resigned from the role at the end of 2025. Thompson was MoSH’s executive director since 2020.
COO Jeff King will now serve as COO and interim executive director. King has been at MoSH since 2021. He previously spent 10 years in operations and visitor engagement roles at the Denver Museum of Art.
The MoSH board of directors is consulting with the museum leadership firm Museum Search & Reference to guide the search for a new executive director.
“We are grateful to Kevin for his commitment to our organization since 2020 and wish him the best in his new endeavors,” Duncan Galbreath, MoSH board chair, said in a news release.
Additionally, MoSH has hired Aubri Zogg as an animal and programs supervisor at the Lichterman Nature Center. She was previously a senior hospital zoologist at the Dallas Zoo and also held roles at the Lee Richardson Zoo and Sunset Zoo.
“I’m excited for Aubri to join our team and lend her experience to new creative programming this spring at Lichterman,” said King, in the release.
